This analysis is part of a series of research studies carried out by the Centre for International Security on dialogue in the Sahel. Following the Sahel-Europe Dialogue Forum held in March 2021, the speakers belonging to the Sahel-Europe Dialogue Forum expert group have deepened the themes of their conferences, analysing shared challenges and opportunities for cooperation on our common challenges. This analysis was carried out by Beatriz de León Cobo, Director of the Sahel-Europe Dialogue Forum, on the basis of the reading notes, with the collaboration of Adriana Álvarez Enrique, international policy expert and consultant, and Julie Bonin, French army reservist.
