Nuno Pereira de Magalhães is the Vice-Dean for Internationalization, Professor of International Relations, and Director of the Observatory of Asia, Faculty of Law, Business and Government, Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. He holds a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Cambridge, UK. Previously, Professor Magalhães worked in several universities in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan; he was an associate of the Weatherhead Center of International Affairs of Harvard University, USA; a teaching instructor at the University of Cambridge, and a visiting fellow at Harvard and Columbia universities, USA. Aside from academia, he has worked with the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, namely with the Mission of Portugal to the United Nations and the Department of European Union Institutions.
